This oil tank wagon consisted of a tanker mounted on a four-wheel chassis. The tanker had a flip-top dome casing on top, bracing in two places around the tanker, mounted on an underframe.
The model tanker was slightly larger in the early production, being a smaller size later on. It was the same mold as used in the Shell tank and UD tank wagons in the range.
The tank was either green with BP stencilled in red or silver with BP stencilled in green. The BP was for British Petroleum oil and gas company. The chassis was bronze coloured.
Additional detail included a moulded hand brake on the chassis.
